«Nevskaya Ratusha» Public and Business Centre Concept

The main architectural idea of the complex is a harmonious combination of the building of the Administrative center of the Government of St. Petersburg and the modern business district, a single public area, which is a pedestrian street. It originates from the main entrance to the Administration building (Novgorodskaya street) and runs through the entire complex of office buildings to the intersection of Degtyarny lane with Zayachy lane.

In the building of the Administrative center the public pedestrian zone is a glazed atrium that runs along the entire building and connects the 8 buildings where the committees of the government of St. Petersburg are located. Further, its continuation is a pedestrian landscaped alley with an extension in the Central part, which forms the town hall square. Thus, it is the main core of the attraction of human flows, which integrates premises for various purposes (commercial and office).
