S.Oreshkin: “We have designed a Scandinavian-type school by using the simple forms and economy class materials. This is one of a few objects which has not been changed at all – our first drawn variant has been accepted.”
The laconic two-storey sports school building has a rectangular form which is interposed by the additional building volumes. On the school facades the architects have used entire glazing as well as horizontal glazing stripes which provided the building dynamics. The glass tree has been designed near the entrance. It would bear the inserted sports school champions’ names. As the interior fencing constructions of the building a sandwich-panel system has been used with profile sheets lining. The construction complex scheme is a metal frame with monolithic ceiling and girders.
